The City Tour 2 Double is the smallest double stroller in the Baby Jogger range. It's designed for travel and easily fits through standard doorways with its ultra-narrow design, it's also one of the lightest double buggies on the market, weighing just 14lb when folded. It's perfect for trips with a newborn and toddler since you won't over-exceed airline baggage allowances. The one-handed, Z-shape fold is easy to fold, it's incredibly compact when you master it. It takes a few seconds to unfold. Our tester found the auto lock somewhat difficult to understand, and also because the handlebar doesn't lock into place when you push it, it hit her leg when she tried to use it. She also thought that the handlebar was on the short side. This is especially true when a large change bag hangs from it.

It's compatible with two carrycots (available separately), features various recline positions, and comes with an UV 50+ canopy. The four tires made of rubber are great for pavements as well as urban terrain. However, they're not designed for off-roading. The 360 swivel wheel on the front can be locked to make it easier to maneuver around the city, and the single pedal brake is easy to use.
Our test participants found that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to manoeuvre, even when moving on uneven ground or turning quickly in a busy street. The feature that the seats can be reclined independently was also an enormous hit.
The hoods were also simple to adjust for wind or sun protection. Our testers did find, however, that they didn't provide an enormous amount of coverage as similar to the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods and it's recommended to bring a rain jacket in case of need.
Overall, our test participants were impressed by the Nipper double's capacity to allow them to take their
twin buggy daughters Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures. From seeing wildlife in the forest to rushing to the park to play with their friends they were thrilled. They were also amazed by how cosy and spacious the two seats are with plenty of space for growing toddlers to stretch out in. The lack of parent facing seating and the inability to use a car seats in this buggy were cited as a disadvantage by our test participants. They would have also preferred a larger storage space for shopping and other equipment.
